What’s This About?

This is God’s wake-up call to his followers living in this generation, in the last days of this age. “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared unto all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world” (Tit. 2:11-12).

So what is deadchristians.org about? What is the purpose of it? Why is it here?

Well, this site is my call from God. It’s been created to be a testimony to his kingdom, to spread the message that not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is actually going to make it to Heaven. It’s a wake up call to people who think that just because they label themselves as Christian, that they are one. Quite the contrary. In Matthew 7:21 Jesus says “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven. On that day, many will say to me ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons and do many powerful works?’ Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from me, you who work iniquity.” So if you are living your life not walking with God and doing your own thing, but think that you are going to get into Heaven, you better think again.

God is not looking for lip service from anyone. He gave us very specific instructions, that we as Christians, are to live by. He also sent us his Son, who walked on this earth for 33 years as an example for us. He didn’t just tell us what to do, he LIVED it.

It’s also a testimony to unbelievers that have a bad impression of Christians because of the way some people profess to be, but really aren’t. They’ve given those of us who do walk with God a bad name. Hopefully we can enlighten them to see the difference in a true follower of Jesus Christ and those who aren’t.

We will be covering a myriad of topics, whatever the Lord leads me to write. I’m merely sowing some seeds. Others will water, but it’s God who will give us the increase. The ultimate goal is to reach as many people as we can with the good news and see hearts repent, lives changed and souls saved. That would happen much more often if “Christians” really were true FOLLOWERS of Christ, not just offering him lip service. What a much better world we would live in.

This is God’s wake up call to his sleeping followers. Don’t hit the snooze button.
